This past weekend on June 16 & 17, 2017 we celebrated the Markham Village Music Festival’s 40th Anniversary.
There was lots of tasty food, wonderful shopping and of course great music.
Over 2 days there were nearly 100 performances spread across 5 stages. With such performances as the Practically Hip, a tribute band for the Tragically Hip, this year’s festival was unforgettable.
Thank you everyone who came out and said hi! It brought a smile to my face to see so many familiar faces and some new ones.
We were serving popcorn and collecting donations for the Centre for D.R.E.A.M.S. (Developing Relationships with Exceptional Adults in Modern Society.) I enjoy seeing how the community comes together to support such a great cause.
This event would not be possible if it wasn’t for the efforts of the Markham Village BIA and the other local businesses that continue to support the event.
We hope you had a great time and we will see you next year!
